One day I was visiting a retirement home when a nun (It was a Catholic establishment) rode up to me on her battery operated senior scooter and asked me my name. She was a merry little
sister all wrapped up in a black and white habit from the '50s.
"Hi, sister, I'm Father Watt. Very nice to meet you."
"Well, Father Watts, she replied where is your parish?"
I answered her that it was in Chicago and that, by the way, my last name was "Watt," not "Watts." I'm only one Watt."
Without missing a beat she smiled like the stout little imp that she was and replied as she scootered away: One Watt? Pretty dim, heh?"
Well, dim or not, I hope that I can share an idea from time to time or a story that might
enlighten someone's life. At other times, I will probably talk about history or collecting things or
art -whatever I think you might like to hear.
In fact, like the sister with the geat sense of humor, I might take off on my scooter and
race from one topic to the next with little rhyme or reason to it all. Still. I hope that someone (or two) will find it interesting.

You're only one Watt but your light shines brightly.
